The International Exhibition Center «Kazan Expo» will bring together doctors, pharmacists and representatives of medical companies from 70 countries in the capital of Tatarstan.
The Eurasian Orthopedic Forum (EOF), Eurasia’s largest event in orthopedics, traumatology, and health care economics, will be held at IEC «Kazan Expo» on June 22-24, 2023. . The Forum will bring together more than 7 700 civilian and military medical specialists from the CIS, Asia-Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
The Eurasian Orthopedic Forum is the only event of this scale with a focus on a multidisciplinary approach. The Forum covers all the aspects of orthopedic traumatology, including pharmacotherapy, radiology, anesthesiology, organizational and legal issues related to doctors’ protection.
For the first time, the scientific program of the forum will be built on the “anatomical” principle, where, in dealing with a particular localization of the musculoskeletal system, all available methods of surgical and conservative treatment will be considered. Many discussions and round tables are scheduled, where all participants will be able to personally discuss the urgent issues of traumatology and orthopedics.
Discussions on the topic of new approaches to the treatment of foot fractures, stabilization after shoulder joint injuries will unfold at the forum sites, participants with world-renowned names will partake of their own clinical practice in the treatment of compound fractures of the lower leg bones. A relevant issue for all those working in urgent traumatology will be the discussion of new standards for the treatment of fractures of the proximal femur and the possibility of their application in Russian realities. The issues of working with spinal deformities of various types will be discussed at the Russian-Turkish specialized conference. contemporary methods of treating combat injuries and master classes in military field surgery will be of interest to anyone who faces such injuries in nowadays. The seminar on polytrauma and pelvic trauma will be held by JSC Trauma.
In addition to the scientific program, the EOF business forum will be held in 2023, which will be devoted to the large-scale tasks of the medical industry set by SMO and partial mobilization, including the creation of technological sovereignty of Russia in terms of the production and sale of medical products. Experts will consider not only new challenges for the traumatology and orthopedics industry in the context of the import-saving policy, but also the regulation of the circulation of medical devices, as well as topical issues of providing raw materials, materials and components to manufacturers and medical organizations. Сertain sessions will touch upon such areas as low-tonnage chemistry, cellular and biotechnology, additive manufacturing.
A large-scale exhibition of manufacturers of implants and equipment, pharmaceuticals, where all the latest developments will be presented, will unfold in the pavilions of the forum. In a specially designated area for workshops, the “City of Masters”, those who wish will be able to see and try out new equipment in action and learn various procedures performed by highly qualified specialists.
The forum participants will also have a extensive cultural and excursion program: strolls to the historical center of Kazan and on a boat along the Volga, excursions to the island-city of Sviyazhsk and an entertainment program with Tatar folk songs, games and dances in the Tugan Avylym national complex.
