Response Plus Medical and Falcon Aviation Services Forge Strategic Partnership to Launch Advanced Air Ambulance Services in the UAE

Response Plus Medical (RPM), a subsidiary of Response Plus Holdings and the UAE’s premier provider of healthcare services, has entered into a strategic partnership with Falcon Aviation Services, a leading Abu Dhabi-based aviation operator. This collaboration aims to introduce state-of-the-art air ambulance services across the United Arab Emirates, with plans to extend operations to other Gulf countries, India, and Africa.
Under this agreement, two specially equipped medical helicopters will be commissioned to facilitate rapid and efficient patient transportation. Falcon Aviation, renowned for its extensive aviation services, operates multiple hubs in the UAE, including Al Bateen Executive Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.
Major Tom Louis, CEO of Response Plus Holdings, emphasized the critical need for swift inter-emirate medical transportation, stating, “There is an increasing need for trauma patients and even non-trauma ones to have access to instant inter-emirate transportation. It can be for the healthcare facilities operated by our group, such as Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi, or for third-party providers anywhere in the UAE.”
Response Plus Holdings, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), is part of VPS Healthcare, which manages esteemed medical facilities including Burjeel, Medeor, and LLH Hospitals in the UAE. The company specializes in on-site and rapid response primary medical services, as well as specialist training. Its corporate clientele features industry giants such as the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and various construction and project companies.
Falcon Aviation Services is acclaimed for its diverse aviation operations, encompassing business jets, city tours, and comprehensive fleet services for prominent clients like ADNOC and Kuwait Oil Company. The company is recognized as the second-largest helicopter-based city tour service provider globally, transporting approximately 40,000 passengers annually, with aspirations to increase this number to 60,000.
Captain Ramandeep Oberoi, Chief Operating Officer at Falcon Aviation, highlighted the synergy between the two companies, noting, “It was while working on a project for Kuwait Oil Company that we first had a deal with Response Plus for rapid paramedical services. We felt that air ambulance services would be a good addition to the services we already provide.”
This partnership signifies a significant advancement in the UAE’s healthcare and aviation sectors, aiming to provide timely and efficient medical transportation services. The collaboration underscores both companies’ dedication to enhancing healthcare accessibility and delivering exceptional patient care across the region.
