The Patient Experience Initiative (PX) Awards 2024, presented by BII Health, as part of the International PX Congress concluded with a grand celebration last week recognizing excellence in patient experience. PX Initiative Awards 2024 honoured innovative practices, transformative programs, and outstanding achievements in prioritizing patient engagement, satisfaction, and well-being within healthcare organizations.
Jason A.Wolf, President & CEO – The Beryl Institute, USA presented thethe award of “Patient Experience Leadership” to Qadar Zada, COO at International Medical Center (IMC). Qadar Zada also received the awards for “Patient Satisfaction Award” and “Transformative Patient Experience Award.” representing International Medical Center (IMC).
Dallah Healthcare earned the Exceptional Patient Feedback Award (Private Sector) for its exemplary efforts in listening to and acting upon patient insights, while the award for “Exceptional Patient Feedback Award (Public Sector)” was presented to King Abdullah Medical City.
King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre – Madinah (KFSH&RC) was recognized for their innovative care strategies with the “Innovative Patient Care Solutions Award”, which was presented by Naseem Almulla, Customer Experience Director – Council of Health Insurance.
Dr. Fouziyah Aljarallah, Group CEO – Hayat National Hospital and her team at HNH, accepted the recognition of Hayat National Hospitals its innovative use of technology with the “Best Virtual Care Platform Award”, “Best Mobile Health Application for Patient Experience Award”, and “Excellence in Patient Experience Chatbot Award.”
Almoosa Specialist Hospital earned accolades for its comprehensive approach to patient experience, including the Excellence in Patient Journey Mapping Award, Excellence in Patient Support Services Award.
John Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) was recognized for their contribution demonstrated excellence with awards for Excellence in Patient Safety, Excellence in Telehealth Solutions, and Patient-Centered Design, showcasing its commitment to integrating safety, innovation, and patient-focused approaches.
“Best Patient Experience Improvement Project Award” was presented to Dr. Hassa Saif Al Mazrouei, Medical Director Patient Experience – SSMC – Abu Dhabi, who collected the award on behalf of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC).
Michael Giuliano, President – Planetree International accepted the award for Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar for “Best Patient Experience Team” and “Excellence in Family-Centered Care Award”, while Almana Group of Hospitals was recognized with the Excellence in Patient Accessibility Award for creating inclusive healthcare environments.
Dr. Latifa Aldossary from the Eastern Health Cluster (EHC) received the Leading Patient Experience Professional Award, acknowledging their leadership in advancing patient-centric care, while Care Medical Hospital, Al Rawabi was honoured with the “Patient Loyalty Award”
“Best Patient Feedback Technology Award” was presented to Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Makkah, who also collected the recognition for “Compassion in Action Award”.
Health.Links Powered by Press Ganey, represented by Adel Al-Shabaan, received the Patient Experience Data Analytics Award for their impactful use of analytics in enhancing patient care, Saudi Health Information Management Society (SHIMA) was recognized with the Honorary Recognition for Outstanding Contribution in Health Informatics.
Eman AlMutairi, Group Director Patient Experience – Health Holding Company presented the Patient Experience Innovation Award, to CareInn, for its creative solutions, while Cate Murphy, Director – Samaritan presented the award for “Best use of Technology in Patient Care Award” was presented to Lujain Abbas, Group Patient Experience Officer – Dr. Samir Abbas Hospital, representing the hospital.
Phil Stylianides, Chief Operating Officer – Picker Institute presented the award for “Patient Experience Integration Solution Award” to Dr. Jumana Al Aabed, Head of Quality Analytics and Improvement – Department of Health-Abu Dhabi, while “Excellence in Patient-Centric Culture Award“ was received by Marcelo Pereira, Chief Executive Officer and Manuel Carvalho, Chief Operations Officer at Oman International Hospital.
“Outstanding Patient Communication Tool Award” was presented to Specialized Medical Center, Riyadh, while King Khalid University Hospital, Riyadh was recognized with the “Patient Advocacy Award”
Patient Empowerment Award, was awarded to Apex Health, Qatar while Semantic Hub received the Outstanding AI Solution for Patient Experience Award, celebrating their use of cutting-edge artificial intelligence to transform patient insights into actionable improvements.
